Terms of use

1.Your account

You need an account to build decks. Give us accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account — you are responsible for what happens under it. You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher, to use Nia Slides.

Access may be by invitation or waitlist while we grow, and some features may be offered only on certain plans.

2.Your content

You own the content you put into Nia Slides — your prompts, messages, files, brand assets and the decks you build. You give us permission to host, store, process and display that content only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the AI and search providers described in our Privacy policy, and to show it to the people you choose to share it with.

Make sure you have the rights to everything you upload, including logos, images and documents, and that using it with Nia Slides does not break any law or anyone else’s rights.

3.AI-generated output

Nia uses AI to research, write and design. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and it can resemble existing material. Review every deck before you present, publish or rely on it, especially facts, figures, quotes and anything legal, medical or financial. You are responsible for how you use what Nia produces.

As between you and us, you own the decks Nia builds for you, to the extent the law allows. Similar prompts can produce similar output for other people, so output is not guaranteed to be unique.

4.Acceptable use

Do not use Nia Slides to:

• Break the law, or create content that infringes someone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
• Create content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
• Impersonate a person or organisation, or create deceptive material such as fake documents, scams or disinformation.
• Upload malware, probe or attack the service, get around usage limits or billing, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
• Scrape the service, resell it, or use it to build a competing product without our written permission.

5.Sharing and the public gallery

You decide who sees your decks. Anyone with a share link can view the deck it points to, and a deck published to the public gallery can be seen by anyone. Only share what you are happy for those people to see. We may remove a published deck from the gallery at any time.

6.Plans, credits and payment

AI actions such as drafting, building, editing and generating images use credits. Your plan grants credits each billing period, and you can buy more. The price and the number of credits are shown before you pay, including any applicable tax. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you turn renewal off in Settings; turning it off keeps your plan until the end of the period you have paid for. Purchased credits expire after the period shown when you buy them.

If you delete your account, unexpired purchased credits are refunded; subscription and promotional credits are forfeited. Except as described here or required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices or plans; changes to a subscription take effect from your next renewal, and we will tell you in advance.

7.Our service

Nia Slides, including its software, design, presets and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms do not give you any rights to it beyond using the service as intended.

We are constantly improving the product, so features may change, and we may add or remove AI models. We work to keep the service available, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Keep your own copies of important decks — you can export them to PowerPoint or PDF at any time.

8.Suspension and termination

You can stop using Nia Slides and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users or the service at risk, or is required to be closed by law. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your decks.

9.Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the service or its output will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

10.Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11.Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

12.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Nia Slides after that, the new terms apply.

13.General

These terms, together with our Privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term straight away does not waive it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
